CHICAGO — The ÂÜÀòÍøÊÓƵ (ALA) announces that the following individuals have filed petitions for the Councilor-at-Large position on the ÂÜÀòÍøÊÓƵCouncil for the 2022 ÂÜÀòÍøÊÓƵElection:

  1. Charles Kratz, Jr., Library Dean Emeritus, The University of Scranton Weinberg Library, Scranton, PA (Academic)
  2. Sara Kelly Johns, Online LIS Adjunct Instructor, Syracuse University iSchool, School Library Program, Saranac Lake, NY (Academic)
  3. Karen G. Schneider, Dean of the Library, Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA (Academic)

The period for filing petitions closed on Dec. 1, 2021. ÂÜÀòÍøÊÓƵelection will begin the second Monday in March on March 14, 2022 and will run through the first Wednesday in April on April 6, 2022. Election results will be announced on Wednesday, April 13, 2021.
