About

ÂÜÀòÍøÊÓƵ

Taylor's stylish artwork shows young Clive Campbell’s transformation into the DJ who helped launch hip-hop in the early 70’s. Using retro cartoon-style illustrations rendered in a palette that emphasizes browns, greens, reds and grays he transforms words on a page into a rhythmic beat that brings the words alive.

Born in Roanoke, Va. and currently living and working in Washington, D.C. Theodore Taylor III studied Communication Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University. His skills include drawing, graphic design, web design, photography and casual beat making. Taylor finds inspiration in a variety of subjects including music, album covers, posters, animation, comics, video games, etc.
