The United for Libraries Outstanding Friend Conference Grant sponsored by ThriftBooks enables one member of a Friends of the Library group at a public library to attend the . Applicants must be first-time attendees of the ÂÜÀòÍøÊÓƵAnnual Conference, and must be active in their public library Friends group. The winner will receive a grant of $1000, plus full ÂÜÀòÍøÊÓƵAnnual Conference registration.

for the 2023 United for Libraries Outstanding Friend Conference Grant are due April 24, 2024. Applicants will be notified by May 8, 2024. The will take place June 27-July 2, 2024, in San Diego, Calif.

Requirements for application:

• The applicant must be a member of a Friends of the Library group in a public library.
• The applicant must be a first-time attendee of the ÂÜÀòÍøÊÓƵAnnual Conference.
• The applicant must include a recommendation from a board member of the Friends of the Library group, or the library director.
• The applicant must include summary of their activities in the Friends of the Library group.
